Frequently Asked Questions for RSA’s Certified Partner Program

Build Your Business...
With the best workmanship warranty and certification program available in the industry. Manage risk, protect your clients, and set yourself apart from the competition.
RSA created this program to bridge the gap of warranty liability in the roofing industry. RSA provides additional protection to contractors so that they can limit liability, mitigate risk, and as a result, enjoy the proceeds from the business they’ve built by retaining value and minimizing long-term liability. The warranty offerings and training together are also intended to help roofing companies build their business and vigorously compete in the marketplace.
RSA will accept applications for review from companies who possess a minimum of 3 years installation experience, demonstrate good credit, reviews, BBB designation and who submit to a background check. Employees with less than 3 years installation experience may attend seminars and training if their company receives certification under its principal.
Certification is based on a combination of ASTM standards, RCA standards and the standards of major manufacturers.
The first step in certification to partner with RSA is to submit the application form and upload required documents for review. Once an application for certification is approved, we will notify you with access to your online portal and set an onboarding orientation session. Training requirements can be met through a variety of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) either remotely, in-house, in-class or in-the-field. Most can be completed in 1-2 days.
Certification is renewable every year.
RSA is only interested in working with top contractors in their respective markets. In this sense, it may restrict the number of certifications in a given area. There is no guarantee of exclusivity unless an explicit partnership agreement is established.
No. The beauty of the RSA limited lifetime workmanship warranty is that it is NOT product-dependent in any way.
